Our meetings are held on the third Monday of every month, usually in the shop of a member, or at some local point of interest such as an OSU Wood Lab or an artisan's shop. The meetings open at 7:15 PM, and start in earnest at 7:30. The topic of the meeting is posted here one week before each meeting. For more information about our meetings, or directions to the meeting, please contact one of the officers.
The September 20th meeting will be held in the basement of the Corvallis Art Center. As usual, we'll start to gather at 7:15 pm, and the meeting will begin in earnest at 7:30. This month our speaker will be Paul Kincaid. He is a local guitar maker. The Gazette Times had an article on him and his guitars last year, and he has done some very unusual work. For a quick sample see his website: www.requiemstrings.com. He'll bring several of his instruments, and have a slide presentation as well.
Access to the basement of the Art Center is via a staircase on the west side of the building. This is the right side, if you're standing in front, facing the Art Center.
